Chemical Questions
Baqua Spa compatibility
Unfortunately, pHin is not compatible with Baqua Spa products as pHin uses chlorine or bromine. You would have to drain your spa completely, including any water in the pipes and equipment, and start fresh with pHin.
Can I add other chemicals besides the ones pHin provides?
If your pool becomes chemically out of balance, for whatever reason, pHin will detect the change and alert you if additional chemicals need to be added to the pool or hot tub in order to bring it back into balance. The pHin chemical subscription is not meant to be used with chemicals outside of our […]
Chemicals – quantity
We expect that the vast majority (90% or so) of our customers will not need to be charged extra for additional chemicals. If we detect much higher than normal chemical usage, we'll reach out to you to discuss options and potentially identify ways to reduce your chemical consumption.

Chlorine question

We don’t ship the actual salt itself because the bags are generally too heavy to ship cost-effectively, however this is something that we can look at adding […]
High chemical consumption
Our subscription is based on a conservative estimate of average residential pools. We expect that the vast majority (90% or so) of our customers will not need to be charged extra for additional chemicals. If we detect much higher than normal chemical usage, we'll reach out to you to discuss options and potentially identify ways […]

There are a number of other factors that impact chemical usage as well, including water evaporation due to hot weather. We can't […]
